Eye Revolution were commissioned by a large property development company to create virtual tours of this high end luxury apartment property in Kensington, London. The property is finished to an extremely high luxury standard and the virtual tours allow potential buyers to get a full 360 picture of the property before arranging a viewing. After they view the property, the virtual tours are a great resource to remind them about the interior layout, style and detailing while they think about putting in an offer.

Poplar Day Centre – a day centre for the elderly offers elderly residents of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets a friendly environment for socialising, learning and stimulation. The centre offers a wide range of activities, including crafts, art, music and movement, darts, quizzes, crosswords, discussion groups, reflexology and a beauty group where visitors can have their hair set or nails done. It ensures that the elderly have somewhere to go where they can feel welcome, relaxed and among friends.
Eye Revolution were commissioned to create a set of virtual tours of the centre, so potential visitors can explore the centre before visiting, enabling them to feel that the settings are familiar even before they arrive. The centre created a soundtrack of people talking about the centre and what it has offered them, which plays while you view the 360 tours. The interactive interface allows viewers to understand the layout of the centre, and they can always tell where they are by referring back to the highlighted area of the floorplan. Viewers have the option of clicking a button to take the tours to fullscreen size, and can zoom in to see the detail.

20,000 people from 50 nations spent three years creating the Emirates Palace hotel. Rumoured to have cost around £2 billion to build, it is the world’s most expensive hotel.
The opulent surroundings feature 6000m² of 22 carat gold leaf; over 1,000 Swarovski crystal chandeliers (including some of the world’s largest chandeliers) and the world’s biggest dome, being higher than St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.

There are lots of formats for virtual tours – Flash Player, Quicktime, DevalVR, Pangea, Java… and so we’re often asked why Flash is the recommended solution for most virtual tour projects. We’ve put together a basic FAQ explaining a little bit about Flash, why it’s a great format for 360 virtual tours and what additional features it offers.
Click the link to read about Flash virtual tours and Flash 10 and if you’re one of the 1.2% of people who don’t already have it installed, there’s also a link where you can download the Player for free.

We’ve recently completed a cockpit virtual tour for the RAF Museum in Hendon. The Miles M.12 Mohawk is part of the Milestones of Flight Exhibition which guides visitors through some of the key milestones in the history of aviation – focussing on the first 100 years of flight.
To give a little bit of background, the Miles M.12 Mohawk is a two-seater aeroplane which was commissioned by American aviator Charles Lindbergh in 1936. He wanted the aircraft for fast travel around Europe on business trips with his wife. (more…)

We’re very proud to announce that we have completed a virtual tour commission for The Edison Downtown in L.A. The venue is quite incredible – it was built in 1910 as L.A.’s first power plant, and then eventually fell into disrepair. The new owners dredged it from underneath several metres of water, and set about creating a brand new bar and lounge for the Downtown LA crowd, complete with original architectural features and even burlesque shows. We were tasked with creating some high-definition virtual tours which conveyed the achingly cool and sultry atmosphere! We created an interactive floorplan with The Edison’s soundtrack playing over it so that users can navigate around the different areas and feel orientated within the space. The tours also function as a useful sales tool for party booking.

We’ve been working on a series of tours for The Third Space, which is an exclusive health and fitness club in London’s Soho, near Piccadilly.
The client realised that if potential customers could see inside the Third Space at the early stages when they’re looking for a gym to join, then the state of the art equipment, extensive facilities & well designed space would be likely to put it top of their list. The Third Space wanted virtual tours whose quality and attention to detail would mirror their own ethos and do the space justice, so we’re thrilled they selected us as their virtual tour provider.
To see the tours in situ, visit the Third Space’s website: http://www.thethirdspace.com/static/membership/virtualtour.aspx

The Percival Mew Gull is a 1930’s British racing aircraft capable of speeds up to 265mph. The aircraft holds the world record between London – Cape Town – London, a record which stands to this day in its class. The Mew Gull at The RAF Museum is displayed suspended from the roof of the museum as part of the Milestones of Flight exhibition, meaning the public cannot access the inside of the cockpit to feel what it was like to pilot one of these aircraft. We were commissioned to create a high definition virtual tour which shows a full 360 degrees around the cockpit of the plane. This tour is displayed in a kiosk in the Museum so visitors can feel a little closer to the experience of the pilots of yesteryear!

We’ve just completed a set of tours and an interface to join them together for the NHS. Kingston Hospital’s New Surgical Centre opened in October 2007, and is a state-of-the-art facility. The tours are intended to orientate patients, doctors and nursing staff within the centre, and so we created them in Java to ensure that all of the NHS staff can access them on their machines. Click here to see the tours.
