Ultrasound Room

The Radiology Department in the Sir William Rous Unit is equipped with state of the art imaging. The two ultrasound rooms are equipped with high specification GE Logic 9 ultrasound scanners. Each scanner allows imaging of the abdomen and pelvis as well as the breast, thyroid and superficial structures. the ultrasound rooms are spacious and suitable for ultrasound guided interventional procedures including biopsy and pre-operative localisations of ultrasound detected, but impalpable breast lesions.
