1. We're photographers first
We're professional photographers - we exhibit our panoramic photography worldwide amongst some of the best photographers in the UK. Why should that matter with a virtual tour? Well, it means that you're getting some of the best photographers in the business creating your virtual tours, and so the quality of the work is simply unrivalled.
2. Are we experienced?
We've recently worked out that we've now created well over 15,000 virtual tours for hundreds of happy clients. We have the infrastructure to meet your needs, with dedicated manpower and technology to deliver even the most extensive virtual tour projects on time and to budget.
3. Future-proof virtual tours
Our virtual tours are shot at a massive resolution - much bigger than the current technology can deliver. This means that your virtual tours will last and last. And when the delivery technology improves, we already have the photography of your space to fit it - so you won't need to re-shoot your tours unless you change the decor.
4. We offer the best value
We absolutely believe that our virtual tours represent the best value on the market. We don't claim to be the cheapest - we do claim that the high quality and features of our virtual tours means that they will look fresh and new for years to come - making them the most affordable choice on the market.
5. We have the technical know-how
Photographic quality doesn't mean technical compromise. We have a background in web design, meaning that we're at the forefront of technical developments to ensure you're getting the best delivery for your virtual tours. We use cutting-edge technology for our virtual tour interfaces, and test thoroughly before launch to ensure that your tours always display beautifully to your audience.
6. We're flexible
If you need to have a flexible shoot for whatever reason (outdoor shots which are weather-dependent, for example), talk to us about how our flexible approach can help you. We are often able to put clients on 'standby' and be able to shoot at short notice when the circumstances are right.
7. Smooth project management
We endeavor to make every virtual tour as painless for the Client as possible, with relaxed and efficient project management from commission to delivery. Our dedicated full-time producer will arrange the details and be available at the drop of a hat to help ensure the shoot, production and delivery goes to plan.
8. We understand Accessibility issues
Eye Revolution created the first W3C AAA compliant virtual tour - something that many people believed was not possible. We understand that companies need to ensure they're meeting their legal and moral accessibility obligations, and our experience with W3C means that we are ideally placed to help you though this.
9. Industry experts
Eye Revolution's work frequently features in photography and trade magazines as examples of market-leading virtual tours and panoramas.
10. Who are we from Adam?
We're a solid company with a great pedigree. We're members of the Association of Photographers and various other industry bodies. We're a limited company, VAT registered and have £2m public liability insurance (which can be extended if necessary) when we're out shooting on site. Our photographers are CRB checked (now called DBS checked) for your peace of mind.
What's your sector?
Over the past 15 years, we've gone out of our way to create world-class 360 virtual tours. We've been variously dangled from buildings, hoisted in cranes, stranded in the North Sea on an offshore wind farm, given hard hats and sent hundreds of feet to the top of a monument, and spent many hours freezing on the top of skyscrapers. We've spent days in bars, churches, offices, factories, aeroplane cockpits, shops, hotels, building sites, football clubs and even in Royal palaces. It's nothing if not diverse!
We've worked in a vast array of industry sectors, and so if you're looking for compelling online content to help increase hotel and restaurant bookings, encourage more university or training institute applications, market conferences or events, document your industry or construction site, market residential or commercial property, showcase your museum or gallery, retail site or healthcare business, or even if you have something a bit creative in mind then Eye Revolution are perfectly placed to provide you with virtual tours which will achieve your objectives. Alternatively, if you're simply looking for people you can dangle from cranes, you've come to the right place. 360 Virtual Tour Interfaces
When we refer to virtual tours, we are talking about the individual 360 tours. For some clients, these individual virtual tours are all they need, perhaps because they only want to commission one virtual tour, or sometimes because they wish to just have text links to the virtual tours. However, for an increasing number of companies looking to commission virtual tours, an interactive interface adds value to the 360 virtual tours, providing their viewers with a positive and engaging brand experience. Virtual Tours and the Disability Discrimination Act
There are almost 10 million disabled people in Britain, and legislation in the form of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) aims to ensure that all disabled people are given a fair deal in everyday life.
Much of the Disability Discrimination Act focuses on the duties of service providers (shops, museums, galleries, libraries, archives and so forth) to disabled users of their services. This is particularly relevant for museums and galleries, who must make reasonable adjustments and provide auxiliary aids and services to make services more accessible and comply with the law. However, a reasonable alternative is permissible in many instances where direct access isn't possible, and a virtual tour is an excellent way of fulfilling this brief, giving users an alternative way of finding and manipulating information. W3C Web Accessibility and virtual tours
You have invested in the creation of a fantastic website, and are considering adding virtual tours to create exciting content for your users. However, a large percentage of users could be cut off from the experiences you have worked to achieve. People with disabilities such as dyslexia or impaired vision, learning disabilities or even a broken arm may have difficulty using the internet and reaching the content on websites. Technologies are able to assist those with disabilities in delivering internet content, but if your website is incompatible with these technologies, then they simply won't see it. There is also a legal implication if companies have already been sued for discrimination due to the lack of accessibility on their websites. Both companies settled out of court. Understanding and Commissioning a Virtual Tour - Beginner's Guide
What is a virtual tour? A virtual tour is a complete 360-degree view of a space. The user can feel as if they're standing within a space, and then can control their movement within the area. They can look up above them, at the floor below them, and all around. Users are also able to zoom in and out, giving them the ability to focus in on areas of interest. Each virtual tour is usually made up from a number of photographs which are stitched together. Click the link to read our guide to commissioning virtual tours.
