British Airways: Peru 360 VR Experience

From May 2016, British Airways started flying direct from London to Lima – the first such direct flight since 1982. Peru’s stunning landmarks such as Machu Picchu are a must for travellers, and the prospect of a direct and easy journey to Lima is worth celebrating!

We were delighted to travel to Peru for Secret Escapes, capturing the essence of the country in a series of 360 interactive images to promote BA’s direct Lima route. We photographed paragliders soaring over Miraflores Beach; enjoyed being as far as possible from a London commute on the PeruRail trains at Huancayo; visited the Maras salt mines; spent time with the traditional community at Misminay; explored the Monastery at Lima; captured the ancient Inca capital, Cusco; and of course photographed the show-stopping views at Machu Picchu.
